17th May 2017 - Teddies for T.L.C. Return to Paulton Hospital: Both Frank and Kevin were appalled to learn that Paulton hospital was the only hospital in the province of Somerset to be without teddies. So, while in the Chair of their respective Lodges, they raised the necessary funds to remedy the situation. A few of the teddies have already been used to bring comfort to upset children and were lovingly received.

27th April 2017 - Installation: Tuesday 11th April was the thirtieth anniversary of the Kenneth Kinnersley Lodge, and also Installation evening.
The Lodge was honoured by the presence of W. Bro. Ben Batley PJGD, Asst P.G.M. of Somerset. The gavel of the Lodge was proffered in a forlorn hope, and was immediately returned with the usual excuses, so the W.M. had to bite the bullet and conduct the proceedings.
The Master Elect was presented and the installation got under way. A slightly nervous new Master was placed in the Chair, and a very relieved I.P.M. handed over the control of the Lodge.
A ballot was taken for as a Joining Member, V.W.Bro.Peter Brassett PGSupWks, which proved clear, and Peter was welcomed into the Lodge. Speaking with Peter later at the festive board, he said he is looking forward to helping in the Lodge in any way possible.
A very welcome appearance was made by W.Bro.John Legge. He is quite frail now but was adamant on attending on the 30th anniversary as he is one of the few founders still with us. A very big `Thank You` to W.Bro. Mark Griffiths for providing the support for John in bringing him to and taking him from the Lodge.
The Master`s song was sung by W.Bro.Ray Conneely, which, I am told, nearly brought the Master to tears.
At the end of the day, a good evening was had by all.
A piece of good news, received with acclamation by the Brethren, is that W.Bro. David Leakey is to receive Grand Rank this year. Congratulations, David, it is well deserved!
A parish notice. The Ladies evening this year will be combined with Connaught Lodge, Further details will be published later.
Please, Brethren, remember the Class of instruction on the 4th Tuesday of the month (25th of April) at 7.00pm. All are welcome.
Have a good summer, and return to Lodge in September, ready to give it your best for our new Master, and please remember we need a candidate so Robin can show off his skills at ritual.
S&F,
F.A.S.
